FAQs
If you have any questions related to the conference that are not answered here, please contact your Headteacher in the first instance, or email the conference organisers on info@girlslearningtrust.org.
Registration and On the Day
Q: How do I register?
A: You do not need to register for the conference beforehand. All staff will be required to sign in via the registration desks found in the sports hall. This is a critical fire evacuation requirement. If staff leave site during the day they should sign out and sign back in as appropriate.
Q. What should I bring?
Just yourself and a pad of paper / pen to make notes. Any other materials or equipment needed for workshops will be provided. You may want to bring a laptop if you have opted into a breakout session that is IT or digitally focused.
Q. What is the dress code?
A. This event is informal so please come dressed in comfortable clothing. However, please note that we will have a professional photographer taking pictures during the day.
Q. Can I choose which workshops to attend?
There are two types of workshop taking place during the day.
For the Team Development Sessions, you will be allocated to a session by your school senior leadership team. For the Breakout Sessions, you will be able to choose your workshops ahead of the day. You may change your Breakout Session on the day if there is capacity in the room.
Q. What if I have accessibility needs?
We aim to make the event accessible for everyone. Please let your Headteacher (or your senior lead in Shared Professional Services) know about any specific needs.
Transport and Parking
Q: Is there transport to the conference?
A: Yes. There will be coaches arranged from both Wallington and Carshalton to take staff to and from Nonsuch. Details have already been sent out to staff on this.
Q: Is there parking available on site?
