About Us

We were originally formed in September 2015 and currently comprise three successful and high-performing girls’ schools: Nonsuch High School for Girls, Wallington High School for Girls and Carshalton High School for Girls. All three schools are located in the London Borough of Sutton.

As the largest all-girls, all-state-funded multi-academy trust in the UK, we have over 4,500 students aged 11-18 and almost 500 staff. We have a financial turnover of £30m and operate over three large sites.

Our Strategy and Operating Model

Great strategy is easy to understand and simple to follow. Our plan is split into the following key sections:

  1. It articulates our overall purpose and education mission that we have for our schools and our students.
  2. It identifies the key enablers at Trust level that will help us deliver this.
  3. It identifies key principles that drive our actions to help us to become effective, articulating this through a series of commitments between our schools, our staff and our students.
  4. It sets out the strategic rationale for our size, and when a function should be moved into a shared service or function for the Trust – what we call our operating model.
  5. It sets clear key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure our progress.

While we work across the Trust to support school performance and ensure value for public money, we believe strongly in allowing our schools autonomy in developing approaches to pedagogy and the curriculum that will deliver the very best outcomes for their students.

Nevertheless, our shared mission and the many opportunities we have for collaboration across our schools mean that we learn lots from each other and that we remain outward-focussed.
