Trust Leaders' Network

The Trust Leaders’ Network is a dynamic forum that brings together our Executive Leadership Team with all Assistant and Deputy Headteachers from across our schools, ensuring our broader leadership is shared, collaborative, and deeply connected to the needs of our students and staff. It meets every three weeks during term time.

This network plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the Girls’ Learning Trust by:

  • Aligning Strategy: helping school leaders see how their individual strategies contribute to the Trust’s overarching mission.
  • Facilitating Collaboration: providing a platform for leaders to share best practices, exchange ideas, and work together to drive educational excellence.
  • Amplifying Staff Voice: ensuring school leaders can communicate their perspectives, concerns, and insights directly to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees.
  • Supporting Professional Development: creating opportunities for leaders to engage with colleagues beyond their own schools, access mentoring, and prepare for career progression.

The network is a key part of our vision for devolved and empowered leadership —enabling more leaders to influence our collective action, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring that every school benefits from shared expertise,
